About Sutton Juniors Football Club

A few details about our club and the people who run it.
The club was formed in 2000 by a couple of fathers who wanted something for their kids to do. It was and still is called Sutton Rascals, but as the age of the teams has increased the older lads preferred to be Juniors rather than Rascals. The younger section, 6, 7, 8 & 9's are still known as Sutton Rascals though. Since then it has grown into a club with teams ranging from Under 6 to Under 15.
Our home is Sutton Park where the smaller teams, U6 - U11 play a series of matches, usually in the local Keybury League, U6 & U7 are currently playing friendly leagues. South Craven School is the venue for the older teams 11 a side matches in the Craven, Aire & Wharfe League which covers the Bradford and Craven area.
We all come under the affiliation of the West Riding County Football Association. More details can be found about these associations on our links page.
The club has a comittee to control the running and decisions that have to be made. This commitee is made up from club members, generally the team managers and a few volunteers. We hold meetings every month along with an AGM every year. A full list of Commitee members is available below. Please feel free to contact any member if you have any questions.
The club has a set of club rules that must be adhered to by all members, parents, coaches and managers.
All our managers and coaches have to be CBR checked by the authorities as required and should have a badge or certificate available at all times when on club duty.
